Windows VST3 Synthesizer

REXALTUS

A wavetable + subtractive synth plugin for producers who want immediate control, strong preset coverage, and a focused panel that gets from raw oscillator tone to finished sound without breaking flow. Only compatible with Windows currently.

Built for deep evolving pads, sequenced leads, and cinematic textures — the kind of sound at the heart of Berlin School and modern electronic music.

Version 0.2.3 adds 96 new curated EX presets while preserving the original 140 factory presets.

REXALTUS synthesizer interface showing oscillators, filter, envelopes, LFOs, modulation matrix, arpeggiator, and effects.
The interface puts OSC 1, OSC 2, filter, amp/mod envelopes, dual LFOs, modulation routing, preset handling, and master effects on one screen.

What It Is

A direct, playable synth built for writing and sound design at speed.

REXALTUS keeps the core of the instrument in front of you at all times. Oscillator shaping, wavetable tone, filter movement, envelopes, LFOs, modulation routing, arpeggiator settings, and master effects all sit on a single screen for faster decisions.

The current release ships with 236 factory presets, including a new EX expansion bank, and a sound engine built around two oscillators, subtractive and wavetable shaping, multimode filtering, amp and mod envelopes, two sync-capable LFOs, six modulation slots, an arpeggiator, and built-in effects.

Interface Focus

The interface is organised for quick patch building, not deep menu diving.

Oscillator Section

OSC 1 and OSC 2 expose waveform choice and tuning directly, so it is easy to move between solid subtractive tones and brighter wavetable-driven textures.

Filter And Envelopes

The filter section combines cutoff, resonance, and keytracking with dedicated amp and mod envelopes for punch, contour, and animated movement.

Motion Tools

Two LFOs with selectable shapes, rate control, and sync options work alongside the arpeggiator and modulation matrix for rhythmic and evolving patches.

Key Features

Everything needed to build, move, and finish a patch inside one instrument.

Voice Engine

36-voice polyphony with 2 oscillators and a focused subtractive plus wavetable signal path suited to leads, basses, keys, pads, and motion sounds.

Filtering

Multimode filtering with lowpass, bandpass, and highpass behaviour, plus resonance and optional keytracking for expressive tone shaping.

Modulation

Amp envelope, mod envelope, 2 LFOs, tempo sync, velocity routing, and a 6-slot bipolar modulation matrix keep movement flexible without turning the instrument into a maze.

Arp + Presets

Built-in arpeggiator, 236 factory presets including the EX expansion bank, and user preset save/load make it fast to sketch ideas and return to exact sounds later.

Effects

Distortion, chorus, delay, reverb, and output level control help patches land closer to release-ready without immediately reaching for extra plugins.

Visual Feedback

Envelope, LFO, and waveform displays make patch movement easier to read while editing, so modulation decisions feel more deliberate and less guesswork-driven.

Audio Demos

A focused selection of presets to show the range of REXALTUS in action.

Arp

Arp 004 Sync Lift

A sync-driven arpeggiated example that demonstrates rhythmic motion and built-in energy.

Movement

Movement 005 Textural Bloom

A more textural example chosen to show that REXALTUS can move beyond standard bread-and-butter patches.

Bass

Bass 002 Sub Mono Round

A rounded mono bass example chosen to show weight, focus, and a more direct low-end character.

Bass

Bass 019 Reese Phaser Bass

A wider, more animated bass preset that leans into movement and stereo character.

Lead

Lead 010 Mono Razor

A sharper mono lead example aimed at hooks, riffs, and forward melodic lines.

Lead

Lead 001 Simple Punch Lead

A punchier lead example that gives a more immediate impression of the synth in a commercial track context.

Pad

Pad 002 Warm Velvet

A warmer pad example that highlights smoother tone, softness, and more immediately usable atmosphere.

Pad

Pad 009 Warm Motion Pad

A warm moving pad chosen to show wider texture and evolving modulation inside the preset library.
