Release notes for plugins and preset expansion packs.

  1. DIODORUS — macOS release

DIODORUS is now available for macOS as a 64-bit VST3, and AU, alongside the existing Windows build. The full version and free demo are both on the site. Windows and macOS are sold as separate products, so pick the one that matches your system at checkout.

  2. REXALTUS 0.8.0

Improvements to the user preset saving workflow. User presets have moved to Documents\REXALTUS\UserPresets, and presets saved by earlier versions are carried across automatically the first time the new version runs. When naming a user preset (after clicking Save U and typing in a name) pressing Enter now saves it — previously the only way to save it was to click Save U a second time.

  3. REXALTUS 0.7.0

Two behaviour fixes. Switching to a user or expansion preset while holding a note could produce a burst far louder than either patch. The mod wheel’s vibrato ran at whatever rate LFO1 was set to, and now runs on its own oscillator at a fixed 5.5 Hz, independent of both LFOs — so every factory preset’s mod wheel responds well for a played lead vibrato.

  4. Dark Techno Vol 1 — REXALTUS preset expansion

Preset expansion bank for REXALTUS 0.6.0 and newer. Uses the wavetables already in the plugin, so there is nothing extra to install.

  5. REXALTUS 0.6.0

The mod wheel becomes a routable modulation source, with an explicit wheel route on every factory preset. Output level raised by roughly 6 dB, with the flat output curve replaced by a soft-knee limiter, delay and reverb tails shortened, and the lowpass presets brightened.

Note that projects saved with 0.6.0 or later will not open in 0.5.0 or earlier.

  6. REXALTUS 0.5.0

Every oscillator is now band-limited, the pulse wave stays band-limited under pulse width modulation, and the wavetables are mipmapped. Measured aliasing on a saw improves from about −12 dB to −72 dB, and wavetable reads land between −76 dB and −93 dB.

  7. REXALTUS 0.4.1

Fixed the Program name field sticking on the first preset.

  8. DIODORUS 1.0.2

  9. REXALTUS 0.4.0

Expansion pack support, the wavetable picker, per-oscillator wavetable slots A, B and C, project recall for external wavetables, and the live wavetable scope. Adds the Harmonic Machines Vol 1 bank.

  10. DIODORUS 1.0.1

Three fixes: the GUI sometimes not updating on a preset change, oscillator slot B showing numbers instead of oscillator type names, and being unable to tweak a factory preset and save it into a user slot.

  11. DIODORUS 1.0.0

First release. Windows 64-bit VST3, 555 factory presets, Scene Morph, bitimbral layer and split, and preset bank import and export.

Includes three mod matrix destinations for LFO 1, LFO 2 and LFO 3 depth, mod wheel vibrato and filter movement on the lead and pluck presets, and refinements to portamento and to preset browsing after a layer or split.

  12. REXALTUS 0.3.1

Some factory presets renamed. Program indices and preset data are unchanged, so saved projects load and simply display the new names.

  13. REXALTUS 0.3.0

User preset save and load, the preset interpolation panel for morphing between preset sounds, and the visualisation tooling — the wavetable draw panel plus dedicated amp envelope, mod envelope, and LFO graph displays.
